About

A short introduction.

I write here about software, writing, and whatever else holds my attention for long enough to be worth a paragraph or two. These notes are not finished thoughts so much as letters I write to myself in order to figure out what I think.

If something here is wrong, I would like to know. The contact page has the address.

§1Recurring subjects

Software design, the craft of writing, and the long tail of small tools that make those two things possible. Occasionally a digression into mathematics or philosophy when the subject has been keeping me up.

§2Correspondence

Letters are read and (slowly) answered. The contact page lists the address. I do not use social media much.

§3Colophon

Set in Donald Knuth’s Computer Modern, served as a web font. Built from plain Markdown and a small amount of Python. Hosted as static files.
